reduced in size, outer borders removed

Condition

Generally good pile with some oxidisation, field reduced in size and borders rejoined, outer guard stripes removed, later applied fringing, some repaired splits and tucks which need attention, carpet puckers slightly, probably due to tension changes when resized. Very attractive design based on 17th century Safavid carpets.
