Description

  • 31 cm, 12 1/4  in.
carved to the front face with a mountain path winding past pagodas and steep rock faces, the upper-most rock with a three-line calligraphic inscription, the reverse with cranes standing and in flight amidst bamboo and fir trees, similarly carved to the upper rocks with a five-line calligraphic inscription, the well-polished stone of a pale green tone with some lighter and russet inclusions, wood stand

Condition

The mountain is in good condition with the exception of a tiny chip to the front left side of the roof on the lower pavilion.
