  • Height 9 1/4  in., 23.5 cm
the base inscribed with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Provenance

Hans Ostrom, Stockholm, no. 795 (according to label). 

Condition

The vase has been reduced and rim polished. There's a crack extending from the interior of the mouthrim to the exterior. Firing imperfections like fritting, burst glaze bubbles, and kiln cracks to the body. The base impact point has been filled with lead with an associated star crack. The interior base has a corresponding large area of loss. The footring has been polished with extensive kiln cracks and areas of losses to the clay body.
