with six pierced circular apertures hidden beneath the wingtips and a cash coin form aperture at the tail feathers (2)

Condition

The censer and cover is in overall good condition with expected wear to the surface, some small nicks and dents to the inner rim and it is possible that the gilt has been refreshed.
