Condition

The canvas is not stretched and has been cut by the Artist into shape. All elements appear to be securely adhered. The central canvas section undulates slightly throughout and ripples in places at the extreme edge. There are one or two very minor creases to the canvas, notably near one of the aglets. Two further aglets near one of the arcs are also slightly taut and have slight creasing. The edges of the canvas are very slightly frayed in places. The ends of the strings are very slightly frayed. The aluminium pipes are slightly scuffed and have in places been worked by the Artist, which has resulted in some incisions and scratches. In some instances, where the aglets have been secured to the edges of the canvas there is some adhesive residue visible. All elements bear evidence of studio matter and detritus and there is light surface dirt. This excepting, the work appears in very good overall condition. The work is unframed.
