Condition

The canvas is original. There are some fine lines of craquelure at the extreme edges and in the extreme corners, with some possible tiny flecks of loss predominantly at the extreme edges. There are further fine lines of craquelure in certain places across the surface of the work. There is some surface dirt and dust. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals a 1 by 1cm area of retouching in the upper right section of the central circle. The work is held within a painted white frame, behind glass.
