Condition
The sheet is secured to the Artist's board with adhesive tabs in each corner and along the vertical edges, a number of these have lost their adhesive. The edges of the sheet are slightly unevenly cut with further deckled edges, in keeping with the Artist's intentions. The sheet undulates very slightly in places, mainly along the upper edge and through the centre, in keeping with the Artist's working methods. The sheet is very slightly foxed. The sheet is very slightly discoloured towards its extreme edges. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The reverse of the sheet appears to have been used by the Artist for an etching. The sheet is float mounted on the Artist's prepared board, and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
