Condition
Minor wear to corners and scuff marks on the edges (top and side). Faint finger print marks on the top corners are visible upon close inspection. This work is overall very good condition.

Ali Kazim brilliantly creates multilayered paintings using oil and water-based pigments. This work is from his Man on Animal Skin series, where he uses leather dyes and pigments on leather to create a layered textured effect. ‘Kazim is fascinated by the human body and is interested in exploring its position within space and time. This desire to explore man’s identity and place in the universe has directed the majority of his art making and he returns to this theme time and time again.’ Z.
