In very good condition, especially given the age of the piece, the mounting with some wear to the surface, and a few very small areas of concentrated patination commensurate with age, predominantly to the reverse and not visible when worn. Mounting tests as 22 karat gold. The button-shaped, off-round and semi-baroque pearls are of white to creamy white body color, with soft to moderate rose, aubergine and blue overtones, good luster, and with minor blemishing including ringing, wrinkled and peeling skins. The rubies are medium purplish red, slightly to moderately included. The enamel predominantly intact and in very good condition, with only a few small chips noticeable under 10x magnification.
