Description
Centering two oval-shaped sapphires weighing 12.51 and 11.34 carats, each framed by tapered baguette diamonds, signed Wander, France, with French export marks.
Condition
In good condition. French obus mark for 18 karat gold. The sapphires are a medium tone, moderately strong saturation slightly violetish blue hue, eye clean with light abrasions to facet junctions, well-matched for color, with good cut proportions. The diamonds weighing a total of approximately 5.10 carats are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1098937 A and B dated March 7, 2019 stating that the sapphires are of Madagascar origin, with no indications of heating. Accompanied by two GIA reports: No. 6193572403 dated August 16, 2018, stating that the sapphire weighing 12.51 carats is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. No. 1192572525 dated August 16, 2018, stating that the sapphire weighing 11.34 carats is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
