AMETHYST, CORAL, TURQUOISE AND DIAMOND BRACELET, CARTIER, PARIS

The torsade composed of 11 strands of coral beads measuring approximately 6.8 to 4.0 mm, completed by a clasp centering a round amethyst, framed by turquoise cabochons and accented by round diamonds, length 7¾ inches, signed Cartier Paris, numbered 012002, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1960s.

In good condition, with light wear to the gold, not noticeable when worn. French assay marks for 18 karat gold. The coral is medium reddish orange, most with characteristic natural graining, a few with whitish areas and minor pitting noticeable upon close inspection. The amethyst, estimated to weigh approximately 34.00 carats, is medium deep purple, slightly included. The turquoise is medium slightly greenish blue to blue, evenly colored and in good condition. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.85 carat, are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Untwisted length approximately 9 inches; length can be made shorter or longer by twisting or untwisting the torsade. Gross weight approximately 79 dwts. Clasp is fitted with a safety closure and closes securely. Clasp dimensions approximately 1⅝ x 1⅛ inches.
