Description
Set with an oval ruby, size 49, signed Cartier, numbered, British hallmarks for gold, case stamped Cartier.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 110382, stating that the oval ruby, measuring approximately 13.60 x 10.05 x 5.50mm, is of Thai origin, with indications of heating and minor residue in healed fissures. Signed Cartier, numbered HLSM0224, stamped with British hallmarks for London, 18 carat gold, sponsor's mark JC, indistinct date letter and stamped 750. Ruby calculated to weigh approximately 5.70 carats, with some very minor points of wear to facet edges. Gross weight approximately 14.6 grams. Fitted case stamped Cartier. Overall condition good.
