Description

Claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 31.65 carats, between tapered baguette diamonds, size 53, signed Cartier, French assay mark, case stamped Cartier.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 86985, stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire measuring 16.07 x 15.94 x 11.85mm, weighing 31.65 carats, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Signed Cartier Paris. French assay mark and stamped Pt 900 for platinum. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, a few abrasions and nicks; for further details on the stone, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 13 grams. Box signed Cartier Paris Rue de la Paix, London 175 New-Bond St, New York, 535 5th Avenue.
