Description
- Jadeite approximately 29.17 x 14.09 x 2.01mm and 28.87 x 14.16 x 1.63mm.
Designed as a butterfly, the wings set with translucent carved jadeite of mottled bright green colour, accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in yellow gold, signed Boucheron Paris, French assay and marker's marks, wings detachable.
Condition
Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade and Stone Laboratory certificate no. KJ 99729, dated 15 February 2019, stating that the jadeite tested is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade"; also accompanied by a gemmological report no. 6194982630, dated 21 January 2019, stating that the jadeite tested is of natural colour, no indications of impregnation. For further details, please refer to the certificate and report. Both wings signed BOUCHERON PARIS, with French assay marks for yellow gold and French maker's marks. Wings are detachable. The carved jadeite is translucent and of mottled green colour, with clouds, under strong illumination, there are internal fissures with some surface reaching, a few scratches, and some abraded surface veins but mostly at the back of the wings. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 3.80 - 4.20 carats in total, are about G to H colour, mostly VS clarity, as graded and gauged in the mount. Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age. Overall in very good condition.
