Description

Set with a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 11.28 carats, to a briolette diamond surround weighing approximately 8.00 carats in total, highlighted with circular-cut emeralds, the shoulders pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold, size 6.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 16105107, dated 7 November 2016, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement. For further details, please refer to the report. Stamped 750 for 18k white gold, EM~11.28 referring to the weight of the centre emerald, BD~8.08, REM~0.44 and RD~0.67 referring to the total weight of the briolette diamonds, circular-cut emeralds and brilliant-cut diamonds respectively. Cushion-shaped emerald is medium bluish green colour and medium saturation, under 10x magnification, there are typical inclusions with a few surface reaching, a few minor chip, scratches and abrasions. Circular-cut emeralds are medium light to medium tone, green to bluish green colour, and medium to medium light saturation, under 10x magnification there are typical inclusions with some surface reaching, minor nicks and abrasions. Briolette diamonds are mainly about G to H colour, mostly VVS to VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Brilliant-cut diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of minor wear to the metal. Overall in very good condition.
