Designed as a palmette motif set with emerald, ruby and onyx beads and cabochons, embellished with rose and single-cut diamonds, to a similarly set terminal, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier, numbered, French maker's mark, French assay and import assay marks, circa 1920.

Signed CARTIER, numbered 5666C, with French assay and indistinct import assay marks for platinum, and with French maker's mark. Emeralds estimated to weigh approximately 15.00 - 18.00 carats in total, are of medium light to medium tone, slightly yellowish green to green colour and medium light to medium saturation, with typical inclusions and some are surface reaching, under 10x magnification, there are some nicks, abrasions and a few chips. Rubies are of medium pinkish to purplish red colour and medium strong saturation, under 10x magnification, there are minor typical inclusions, a few minor chips, nicks and abrasions. Onyx with minor nicks, overall in good condition. Diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of minor wear to the metal commensurate with age. Overall in very good condition.
