Maroquin rouge, triple filet, dos lisses ornés de filets et fleurons répétés, doublure et gardes de papier dominoté, tranches dorées (Reliure de l'époque).Dos très légèrement fanés. Quelques cahiers légèrement jaunis et rares rousseurs. Édition des Fermiers-Généraux, la plus célèbre des éditions des contes de La Fontaine. Illustrée de 2 portraits-frontispices, l'un de La Fontaine d'après Rigaud, l'autre d'Eisen d'après Vispré, gravés par Ficquet, de 80 figures par Eisen gravées par Aliamet, Baquoy, Choffard, Delafosse, Flipart, Lemire, Leveau, Longueil et Ouvrier, de 4 vignettes et de 53 culs-de-lampe par Choffard dont le dernier contient son portrait. Les figures du "Cas de conscience", du "Diable de Papefiguière" et des "Lunettes" sont couvertes. Joli exemplaire. Référence : Cohen 558.
