Description

Of whirl design, claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire within a surround of brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, size 56, French assay mark for platinum and maker's mark for Chaumet, gross weight 7.95 grams.

Condition

Accompanied by LFG partial report no. BD021297/1 stating that the sapphire is of Thailand origin, with no indication of heat treatment. French assay mark for platinum, maker's mark for Chaumet (JC star moon). Sapphire measuring approximately 10.41 x 10.46 x 7.41 mm, estimated to weigh 5.50 carats. Important chip on the culet, and on one side of the sapphire, minor chips on facet edges visible to the naked eye. Diamonds bright and lively. Shank with evidence of resizing, mount in good condition. Gross weight 7.95 grams.
