Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, laid down on canvas. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouching. There is a Y shaped repaired tear (approx. 25 cm long) in the beige background between the figures at the centre of the composition and a few small repaired tears notably to the lower part of the right edge. There are some flattened creases in places, notably towards the lower left corner. There is some frame rubbing along the extreme edges, most predominately to the right edge. Colours are fresh. This work is in overall good condition.
