Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals small spots of retouching to paint losses in the sky in the upper right quadrant. There are minor paint losses in all four edges and in places, most prominently to the upper right corner and to the blue of the stream running through the centre of the composition. There are fine lines of stable craquelure predominantly to the blue pigment of the sky and brook. This work is in overall good condition.
