Condition
This work is in good condition overall, taking its age into account. The cardboard has been mounted to a wood panel support. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable overall. Intermittent media losses are present at the extreme edges of the board, possibly due to prior frame abrasion. Two additional one-inch thin bands of media loss are also present in the upper left quadrant in the white and blue pigments. Three circular faint beige surface accretions less than 1 inch in diameter are present in the lower right quadrant. Under ultraviolet light inspection, concentrated isolated minor areas of 1-2 inch fine lines of inpainting become apparent in the upper quadrants of the work along the edges of some of the geometric elements and along the extreme edges of the board, primarily in areas with white pigment.
