Condition
The canvas has not been lined. The edges of the canvas have been reinforced with tape. There are some scattered lined of hairline craquelure in the sky. There are a couple nailhead losses along the left edge as well as a nailhead sized loss to the upper edge, at left. There is some minor frame abrasion along all edges. Under UV light, there are some scattered pindot strokes of inpainting in the figure's faces at lower right. There are a couple other scattered pindot strokes of inpainting along the top edge and in the sky. There are some possible strokes of inpainting along the lower edge and along the lower part of the left edge. A milky varnish obscures further reading. The work is in good condition.
