Condition
The canvas has been cut and laid down on another piece of canvas. There are scattered lines of craquelure throughout, most notably to the thicker areas of pigment. There are parallel vertical stretcher bar marks running down the center of the canvas. There is a pindot sized loss to the brown pigment below the mill and another one to the brown pigment about four inches in from the bottom left corner. There is one inch scratch near the upper half of the left edge. Under UV inspection, there are some minor strokes of inpainting along the top edge, most likely to address prior frame abrasion. The painting is in good condition.
