Catalogue Note
Uniting three dimensions of time within its reversible swivel case, including civil, sidereal and perpetual time, the present watch was created to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the iconic Reverso collection in 2006. The Grande Complication à Triptyque came to life after more than four years of research and development. This magnificent timepiece is the world’s first triple-dialled wristwatch and comprises 18 complications. Powered by calibre 175, the movement consists of 642 individual parts, 79 jewels and 2 winding barrels to give the mechanism a power reserve of 48 hours. The time dial showcases the time, power reserve, 24 hours indication and most importantly, the tourbillon regulator, allowing the owner to marvel at it in motion. The reverse dial displays the astrological chart of the Northern Hemisphere, zodiac calendar, equation of time and sunrise and sunset. The inner case reveals a perpetual calendar, moon phases and leap year indication.
Offered in excellent unused overall condition, the present watch is number 1 of a limited edition of 75 pieces only.
