Catalogue Note

Rolex first introduced the reference 2508 in the mid-1930s, representing the very beginnings of their chronograph lineage. This reference was the first one to feature two pushers to operate the chronograph and two subsidiary dials, one displaying the running seconds and the other one featuring a 30-minute register. The black dial, combined with the steel case, embodies the era in which it was produced, and boasts a timeless sportiness in its attractive appearance. The case is preserved in fantastic condition - the colour of the dial makes this particular example a rarity.
