MVT: running at the time of cataloguing. CASE in good condition. Relief in good condition retaining crisp detail. DIAL: in good condition. Catalogue Note

The lot above was made in commemoration of the crowning of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, as Shah of Shahs or Emperor of Iran. The extravagant coronation was conducted in Tehran in 1967, by which point Pahlavi had already reigned for twenty-six years. The present lot depicts the Shah and his Queen, Fara Diba.
