MVT: is running at the time of cataloguing. CASE: in attractive condition with fairly sharp edges. The hallmark on the side of the lug is still visible and the 18k mark on the back still crisp. There is light oxidation visible and there are light scratches visible with the naked eye throughout. DIAL: with light and fairly uniform staining. There are some fine surface scratches and spots visible with the naked eye, and there is tarnishing and some light bending visible to the indexes. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. This vintage Calatrava wristwatch has attractive proportions and an interesting shape with the bezel overlapping the lugs making them appear very short. Due to its large diameter for the time period and the overlapping bezel, it appears rather big on the wrist even today, the dial having uniformly aged and taken on a fine patina providing it with a unique touch.
