Movement: The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. Case: with very minor signs of wear, hardly visible with the naked eye and in excellent overall condition. First launched in 1988, the Sea-Dweller 16600 is the almighty version of the Submariner 16610 from the same decade. To distinguish from the Submariner, the case fitted with a helium escape valve and slightly thicker. The sapphire crystal does not feature the cyclops lens. The present watch is made for the COMEX diving corporation. There were two batches of 16600 COMEX, first batch with 100 pieces in 1992 with straight COMEX engraving on the case back, the second batch were 200 pieces with rounded engraving and produced in 1997. As the case back engraving on the present watch is straight, in other words this is one of the first batch model. The watch is furthermore retained in excellent overall condition complete with all accessories.
