Catalogue Note

The Rolex Daytona 'Paul Newman' reference 6264 was only manufactured for a few short years in the early 1970's. It was the last Daytona to feature pump pushers. This example recently serviced at Rolex was fitted with a new acrylic bezel and crystal. The watch is still retaining its original bracelet and case with nice full proportions. The numbers between the lugs are very easy to read and the dial is in very attractive condition.

It is interesting to note this example is not powered by the new upgraded Valjoux movement at the launch of the reference 6264, the calibre 727 but the classic calibre 722.
