Catalogue Note

This collector’s wristwatch is in fantastic original condition. The Panda 'Paul Newman' dial features all the correct attributes. The lume plots are consistently formed and react very nicely under UV. The step is nice and easy to distinguish and the white graphics of the subsidiary dials are extremely pleasant and very well defined, including the "T Swiss T" designation on the bottom of the dial. The reference 6262 was the last Daytona reference to be fitted with bump pushers and differed to its sister model ref. 6241 and fitted with a steel calibrated bezel. The reference was first introduced in 1970 and was powered by the new 727 Valjoux calibre.

Consigned by a private collector, the present watch is a highly charismatic example and in lovely original condition.
