  • Diameter of bowl 4 3/8  in., 10.5 cm
this bowl with shallow rounded sides supported on a short tapered foot, moulded on the interior with radiating petals resembling a chrysanthemum flower, the interior applied with a single-molded flower, applied overall with a translucent blue-tinged glaze, the base unglazed revealing the burnt orange stoneware body, the associated stand formed as a footed-dish surmounted by a small bowl, covered overall in a pale blue transparent glaze (2)

Condition

The bowl: tiny chips to the edges. A restored area to the rim approx. 1.2cm long and covered in overspray. A restored hairline crack approx. 2cm long covered in overspray. Chips to foot. Surface wear and scratches consistent with age. The stand: rim restored and surface wear.
