Description

  • Height 9 1/2  in., 24 cm
the slightly spreading foot elegantly rising to high, broad shoulders, surmounted by a short, waisted neck and everted rim, the exterior covered with a translucent yellow glaze, the unglazed recessed base with a stepped footring

Frank Caro, New York, 24th April 1971.

Condition

There is a polished frit on the shoulder. Scattered firing imperfections and brown spots throughout. Minor chips to the footring. Old labels adhered to the base. Faint crazing to the glaze due to firing. Otherwise in overall good condition.
