Description
- 21.5 cm, 8 1/2 in.
the gently curved sides rising from a short straight foot to a slightly everted rim, carved to the centre of the interior with a lotus bloom borne on leafy stem, the well moulded with six radiating lines for a lobed effect, covered overall in a creamy ivory glaze, the rim bound in metal
Condition
This bowl is in good condition, although the areas beneath the metal rim cannot be examined. There are some general surface wear and minor firing imperfections, including some pinholes, burst bubbles and adhered grits. There is also some minor chips to the footrim, the largest measuring approx. 1 x 0.2 cm. The actual colour is of a slightly creamier tone than the catalogue illustration.
