- 30.4 cm, 12 in.
the compressed pear-shaped body of rectangular section rising from a gently spreading foot, the neck with indented corners and set with a pair of lug handles, the body with raised peach-form panels, covered overall with a rich glossy red glaze streaked with pale blue and violet at the corners, handles, and at the mouth, the base with a six-character incised mark
Condition
This vase is in good condition, with the exception of some minor firing imperfections, including glaze pulls, burst bubbles and iron spots, as well as some surface scratches. There are some traces of residue visible to one corner and near the foot of the vase. There is a chip (approx. 3 x 1 cm) to the interior edge of the foot, and some shallow flake to the glaze near the foot.
