  • 11.2 cm, 4 3/8  in.
with the deep rounded sides flaring from a narrow flat foot, covered overall with a brownish-black glaze and splashed with caramel-beige tones simulating tortoiseshell, the glaze finishing just above the knife-pared foot, the base unglazed revealing the buff body 

Condition

There are restorations and associated over-spray to approx. 1/3 of the bowl, visible under the UV light. There are also firing imperfections, including glaze pulls, burst bubbles and crackles to the glaze. The actual colour is of a slightly more orange-brown tone than the catalogue illustration.
