stretcher inscribed Mrs. Dr. Elisha Perkins Plainfield, Conn., and affixed paper label is inscribed, Portrait of Sarah Douglas, wife of Dr. Elisha Perkins of Plainfield, Connecticut and mother of the late Mrs. Charles Marsh of Woodstock, Vermont. Died on Aug. 10. 1795 ae 57.

Condition

Appears to retain its original mahogany frame. Proper right lower corner with tears to paper. There is a 1 inch tear along bottom edge approximately 5 1/4 inches from proper left side. Actual: Height 18 3/4 in. by Width 15 3/4 in. Frame: Height 21 in. by Width 18 in.
