Description

Set with an oval-shaped color-change sapphire weighing 10.33 carats, accented by baguette diamonds, above a gallery set with round and single-cut diamonds, size 5.

Condition

In good condition, with light scratching and wear to the metal. The shank is out of round. The metal tests as platinum. The accenting diamonds, estimated to weigh 0.70 carat, are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. The sapphire is medium violetish blue in fluorescent light and medium purple-pink in incandescent light. The sapphire is very slightly included, with some abrasions along the crown facets, visible only under close inspection. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1098572 dated March 7, 2019 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating, with color change from violetish blue to purple-pink. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2181058322 dated December 8, 2016 stating that the sapphire shows no indications of heating, with color change from bluish violet to purple.
