PAIR OF SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND EAR CLIPS, BOUCHERON, 1950S

Each claw-set with a cushion-shaped sapphire within a radiating double border of graduated baguette diamonds, signed Boucheron, French assay marks.

Accompanied by GCS report no. 79215-10, stating that the two sapphires stated to weigh a total of approximately 4.2 carats, are of Ceylon (Sri Lankan) origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Ear clip fittings each signed Boucheron Paris, (one signature partially rubbed) stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 5.00 - 7.00 carats. Diamonds estimated to be approximately H-J colour, VS clarity on average. Overall in good condition. Each measuring approximately 32 x 27mm, combined gross weight approximately 32.2 grams.
