Condition
Examined in the frame. Original unlined condition. Deliberation: Minor loss in lower right corner. Under UV: there are scattered finely applied dots of retouching in the water near the lower edge; a few very minuscule pin dots of retouching on and around the cat and in the upper left corner; and one dot of retouching in the background at upper right. Determination: Under UV: there are a few finely applied retouches visible and all four corners; two parallel horizontal lines of small dots of retouching at upper center left; and a few additional dots at lower center. Satisfaction: Minor loss in lower right corner. Under UV: there are a very few finely applied retouches visible in all four corners as well in the upper left quadrant, at the center left edge and in the grass at upper right. A few hairs on the back of the cat's neck and back appear to have been retouched.
