Condition

FR : Etat d'usage. Le chêne présente des rayures, égratignures, enfoncements et éclats épars, cohérents avec l'âge et l'utilisation. De nombreux enfoncements et éclats ont précédemment été restaurés. Il y a quelques soulèvement de placage et des éclats de placage plus visible le long des arêtes et sur le plateau. Le plus grand éclat est situé le long du rebord du plateau et mesure environ 30 cm. Le chêne présente des décolorations et des tâches. Les éléments en métal semblent avoir été repeints à une date ultérieure. La peinture présente les rayures, égratignures et éclats habituels, certains révélant le métal en-dessous, comme partiellement visible sur l'illustration du catalogue. L'intérieur des tiroirs présente des tâches (principalement des tâches d'encre). //// EN : Fair overall condition, consistent with age and use. The oak presents with the usual scratches, scuffs, dents and chips scattered. Multiple dents and chips have been previously restored. There are a few upliftings of oak veneer and some more visible losses of veneer along the edges and on the top. The longest loss of veneer is on approximately 30 cm on the edge of the top. The oak presents with instances of discoloration and with some instances of staining. The metal elements appear to have been re-painted at later date. The paint presents with scattered scratches, scuffs and chips, some of them revealing the colour of the metal underneath, as partially visible in the catalogue illustration. The inside of the drawers are soiled (mostly with ink).
