Condition
Good overall condition. The bronze presents with a few rare surface scratches and a few very tiny dents, not visually distracting. There are a few tiny scratches/scuffs on the hair, including three more visible scuffs, concentrated on the right side of the head, on approximately 2 cm. The patina presents with instances of light wear, more significant on the stem (inherent to handling and partially visible in the catalogue illustration). There are a few instances of light vert-de-gris scattered. All consistent with age and use. This lamp is electrified. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
