Literature
Monique Frydman is a French painter born in 1943 in Nages, in the Tran region of France. After graduating from l'école des Beaux-Arts de Toulouse, she moves to Paris in 1964. Her work was first figurative before becoming abstract and exploring innovative combinations on different mediums and with a variety of materials. Today, Monique Frydman is considered as one of the greatest figures of French abstraction. She lives and works today in Senantes, France.
