This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. The impastoed peaks appear stable and well intact. There is evidence of light dust accumulation and very minor surface soiling. There is evidence of very light wear and handling to the corners and turning edges. The irregularities in the pigment application and separation are consistent with the artist's working method and choice of medium. Only visible under very close inspection, there are a few very minor areas where the pigment is slightly lifting with a few, associated areas of very minor flaking to the pigment. There is evidence of very minor hairline craquelure particularly at the top left horizontal edge and at the top right corner. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
