Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition:This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection of the edges reveals spots of burnishing and minor rub marks in a few places and an extremely short (3mm) semi-circular crack to the white flashe background towards the lower centre right vertical edge. Further very close inspection in raking light reveals a thin diagonal scuff towards the upper centre of the composition, and few minor, short and unobtrusive scuffs in isolated places. There is minor wear to the right corner tips, and a spot of restoration towards the lower right corner tip. Inspection under ultra violet light highlights this restoration and reveals a few drip marks in isolated places. No further restoration is apparent.
