Catalogue Note

"Each of [Sherman's] film stills is about the 'Girl in Trouble,' but in the aggregate they touch the myth that we each carry out of childhood, of danger, love, and security that defines the human condition of where the wild things are." Arthur C. Danto, Cindy Sherman: Untitled Film Stills, Munich 1990, p. 14
