Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The sheet is window matted and hinged with photo corners in all 4 corners. There is very soft undulation to the sheet. There are smudges along the edges, which are inherent to the artist's working method and obscured by the mat. There is evidence of faint time staining in the lower right corner, also obscured by the mat. Framed under Plexiglas.

Catalogue Note

"That these drawings feel personal is due not only to their small size, but also to their depiction of handwriting, that inimitable trace of a person, one through which he or she might be identified."
