This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. Isolated areas of very fine craquelure are present in the following locations: two horizontal lines through the center of the composition corresponding to the stretcher; an 8-inch rectangular area of spiderweb craquelure in the pale yellow of the lower right quadrant; scattered 2-3 inch vertical lines in the black pigment overall; a few 1-inch vertical lines in the grey area in the upper right quadrant. All of these areas are stable. Under ultraviolet light inspection, a few spot accretions become apparent in the upper right and lower left quadrants. Isolated areas of inpainting become apparent along each edge of the canvas in the field of teal; however, none of these restorations interfere with the central composition. This work is ready to hang.
