Condition
i. This work is in very good condition overall. There is very minor evidence of wear and handling to the edges, most notably a few minor and scattered rub marks. There are stable drying cracks in the blue and green painted feathers of the duck. There are six brown pinpoint media accretions scattered throughout, most noticeably in the center of the flames. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. ii. This work is in very good and sound condition overall. The scattered signs of wear, such as scratches and rust, are inherent to the nature of the artist’s chosen medium and working method.
