Condition

Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals some light handling marks and some tiny nicks in intermittent places along all four extreme edges and some very slight wear to all four extreme four corner tips. Further extremely close inspection reveals a few tiny dents to the extreme upper right hand corner tip, some very faint rub marks in isolated rub marks throughout and a tiny media accretion towards the centre of the composition. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals some inpainting towards the lower left quadrant of the painting.
