Catalogue Note
Georgina Schickler was the daughter of Jean-Georges Schickler (see lots 160 and 172). She was Arthur de Schickler's sister. In 1840 she married Count Edgard de Choiseul-Praslin. The Baron Jean-Georges de Schickler rented the Rambouillet Castle during 12 years (between 1832 and 1844) where he organised sumptuous hunting parties
